Course Description

IADC Rig Pass is a safety orientation program designed for individuals who are new to the drilling industry. The course provides an overview of the drilling industry and covers the potential hazards encountered on a drilling rig. The goal of the program is to increase safety awareness and help prevent accidents on the rig.

The course covers various topics such as rig safety, hazard identification and control, environmental and regulatory issues, transportation and lifting, well control, and security. Participants will learn about the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe work practices, hazard communication, emergency procedures, and fall protection. The course will also cover environmental regulations and standards, waste management, spill prevention and response, transportation safety, lifting equipment and procedures, and crane safety.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

By the end of the course, participants should have an understanding of the potential hazards encountered on a drilling rig and the best practices for mitigating these hazards.
