Computer, phone, laptop and any mobile device no longer differ. The gaps are almost erased with the advent of web, IoT and other new technologies. With the increased accessibility and openness, however, people and Industry face an ever-growing data privacy issue. As people want to be linked but not share all their data and not have their data compromised or misused otherwise.  This training will discuss the major data privacy issues and plan for the future, especially now that the telecommunications sphere is fully liberalized and there are many integrated open network service providers. The key impact of this liberalization and open network provision on existing telecommunications service is that, while before there was only one (government-owned) corporation with complete access and control over the telecommunications infrastructure and its operations, there are now many companies with interwoven infrastructure and operations that must be  controlled by the government and international laws. Consequently, several countries have adopted data protection laws given by the government, or are using their general data protection rules, while some other bodies have implemented international laws that concern not only their members but all that deal with the data of their members.
