TRAINING ON DATA MANAGEMENT AND STATISTICAL ANALYSIS USING STATA
Course Description
THE RATIONALE
This course, extended over nine modules, provides a comprehensive introduction to Stata and Statistics. The aim of the course is to teach all the variables, and the relevant Stata commands, used in Statistics. These variables are nominal, ordinal, interval, and ratio variables.
Stata comprises of advanced functions which includes forecasting, survival analysis, data analysis, and time series analysis and survey methods. It can be utilized via graphical interface using very intuitive language. It benefits from the active user community which gives its support on a dedicated mailing.
The course is aimed at researchers and other professionals who would like to strengthen their capacity using this statistical data analysis software. The training will enhance the knowledge and skills of the participants to analyze data in a fast, accurate and easier manner by using Stata software and will know how to interpret and present the results.
THE COURSE OBJECTIVES:
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
- Perform data analysis tasks with Stata
- Perform simple to complex data management tasks using Stata software
- Generating descriptive statistics
- Creating powerful publication-quality graphs
